Hola Corazones,

En este día soleado y con viento por aquí, os traigo una página de Art journal, con la que gustosamente participo en el fantástico reto  propuesto este mes por Mia de Craftartista, para Art Journal Journey :   Flowers (flores). Os invito a visitar sus hermosos blogs, porque son maravillosos.

On this sunny and windy day around here, I bring you an Art journal page, with which I am joining the fantastic challenge proposed this month by Mia from Craftartista, for Art Journal Journey : Flowers. I  invite you to visit their great blogs, because they are wonderful.

He creado esta página sobre un dibujo de Federico García Lorca, como base, añadiendo varias capas de restos de papeles, pintados con acrílicas principalmente, de scrap y cartón. He pintado con acuarelas sobre la página, aleatoriamente,  y he pegado una flor sobre hoja de libro viejo. Para hacer la flor, he recortado cada pétalo de otro resto de pinturas,  los he ido pegando uno sobre otro, y he añadido un círculo para el centro de la flor, pintando con  rotulador y remarcando los bordes,y añadiendo el sentimiento.
Federico García Lorca, de Granada, España,  fue poeta, escritor, dramaturgo y dibjutante, entre otros, si queréis  leer sobre su corta pero interesante vida, pinchad aquí Wikipedia.

I have created this page on a drawing of Federico García Lorca, as a base. adding several layers of scraps, mainly painted with acrylics, scrap and cardboard. I have painted with watercolours on the page, randomly, and glued a flower on an old book sheet. To make the flower, I have cut each petal from another rest of  paintings. I have glued them one on top of the other, and I have added a circle to the center of the flower, painting with a marker, and  highlighting the edges. Then I wrote the sentiment with a glitter pen.

Federico García Lorca, from Granada, Spain, was a poet, writer, playright and cartoonist among others. If you want to know about his short but interesting life, click here Wikipedia.
