You are my flower

Hola Corazones,

Hoy es el penúltimo día de feria en la ciudad, y todas están en la playita, disfrutando del verano, o ahora mismo tomando tapas con vinito en la feria del mediodía, o, simplemente, disfrutando de las vacaciones relajadamente. Aunque, otros, siguen trabajando, aprovechando esta época veraniega turística por toda la península.
En cualquier caso, feliz día !

Hoy os traigo tres Atc´s  florales y veraniegas, cómo no ! He usado cartas de jugar, pintado la base con gesso y acrílicas amarillo y naranja,  y he hecho un collage con papel de regalo, que tenía bonitas flores de colores. He añadido un poco de pintura acrílica azul, salpicado con pintura blanca líquida,  y he sellado con sellos de flores. Luego he añadido hilos beige, un die cut de rosas y el sentimiento. Sencillas, pero resultonas.

Treasures in my Garden !

Hola Corazones,

Qué mini-airecito corre hoy por aquí, mini, pero muy apreciado ciertamente, podemos respirar !

Hoy os traigo una página de Art journal, inspirada en el nuevo tema para esta quincena, que nos propone Carol para Try it on Tuesday : "In my garden there is... ", en mi jardín hay...... hay tantas cosas bellas !! Pues ahora os cuento cómo he creado mi página, pero antes, os invito a visitar sus maravillosos blogs, llenos de preciosidades.

What a little little air is running today here, very little, but so much appreciated of course, we can  breathe !

Today I share an Art journal page, inspired on the new theme for this fortnight proposed by Carol at Try it on Tuesday : "In my garden there is...", and in my "flat-garden" there is..... so many wonderful things!! (use my imagination) Well, I´ll comment you how I created this page, but before, I invite you to visit their blogs, full of beauties.

Para el fondo de la página, he aplicado gesso son una espátula,  añadido varios colores de acrílica y he hecho varios trazos para los árboles y las flores. He echado un poco de purpurina verde antes de que secara. Una vez seco, he usado varios colores de   oil pastel crayons  y después un pincel con agua para expandir los colores. He usado lápices de colores para las flores y he añadido una preciosa imagen del nido, sobre tela de red verde, ambos regalos de Chris de  Pearshapedcrafting  . Para terminar he escrito  la frase con rotulador permanente negro sobre cartulina, y coloreado en morado alrededor. Espero que os guste.

I have created the background with gesso and a spatula, added green and yellow acrylic paints,   and done several  strokes for the trees and the flowers. I have added green glitter before it dry. Once dry, I have used some colours of oil pastel crayons and then applied water for  spreading the paint. I have used colours  pencils for the flowers, and then added a lovely image of a nest on a beautiful green tissu, both gifts from Chris from   Pearshapedcrafting   . Endly I wrote the quote with a permanent black marker  and coloured with purple pencil. Hope you´ll like it.

Hoy os traigo una página de Art journal, inspirada en el fantástico tema que propone  Gill este mes para Art Journal Journey "Anything with eyes". Con mi página también me uno a la reunión semanal con Bleubeard & Elizabeth y la maravillosa gente del T-gang para... T stands for Tuesday. Today I bring you an Art journal page, inspired by the fantastic them proposed by Gill this month for Art Journal Journey "Anything with eyes". And, today it´s Tuesday, so I´m glad to join Bleubeard & Elizabeth and the wonderful T-gang people at this weekly meeting for T stands for Tuesday.... and we´ll take our tea, or coffee. He creado esta página pegando trocitos de papeles scrap,  hojas de libro viejo,  incluido un envoltorio de bombones de chocolate. Luego he añadido varios colores de pintura acrílica por toda la página, y en los bordes he usado crayons pastel. Una vez seca, he ido pegando la tarjeta central con las mariposas, trocitos de papeles, puntillas, sello con marco, el sentimiento, y finalmente un sello casero de corazón con tinta distress.

I have created this page gluying bits of scraps, sheet of old book, also a chocolate candy wrapper. Then I have added acrylic paints in several colours, and crayons pastel in the edges. Once dry, I added the central card with the butterflies, bits of paper, laces, mail stamp with the frame, the sentiment, and finally an handmade heart stamp with distress ink.

Aquí se puede apreciar el brillo del envoltorio de bombones. He remarcado las mariposas con un rotulador permanente negro.
Here you can see how the candy´s wrapper shines. I have  highlighted the butterflies with a black permanent marker.

My Tea related post.... is chocolate and churros !! Saturday night at the fair of Almería.
And a sandwich for my son.
Chocolate con churros del sábado por la noche en la feria de Almería, y un bocadillo para mi hijo, que tenía hambre...

Había mucha gente. En la Caseta Municipal, en la izquierda, hay actuaciones musicales todas las noches.
There was a lot of people.  You can enjoy musical performances every night at the Caseta Municipal.

Hay muchas atracciones para niños y adultos.
There are many attractions for children and adults.

Los puestos de vino tienen mucho éxito, vinos dulces y normales.
The wine stands are very succesful, sweet wine, and normal ones.


Durante el día también está la feria del mediodía, dónde se pueden desgustar las tapas. Hay muchas actividades infantiles, como concurso de dibujo, la cabalgata de flores con carrozas, desde las que los niños lanzan flores y caramelos a la gente, cabezudos y varias asociaciones que desfilan también. Es una semana divertida. Conciertos y deportes, y, por desgracia, corridas de toros (que odio ). Los que más disfrutan son los niños claro, y entre  la feria y las vacaciones,  nos alegran con sus risas y sus alegrías.
During the day, there is also the noon fair, to taste tapas. There are many children ´s activities, such as drawing competitions, La Cabalgata, platforms from which children straw flowers and sweets to the people, big headed parades,  as well as the orchestra of Almería. It is a fun week, concerts, sports, activities, attractions.... and, unfortunately corridas de toros too, (which I hate).
The ones that enjoy the most are the children, and, between the fair and the holidays,  we are happy with their laughs and their joys.

Wish you were here --- Anything with Eyes

Espero que el domingo haya sido divino, Por aquí todo fenomenal, de fiestas.😄😄

Hoy os traigo una página de Art journal, inspirada en la fabulosa propuesta de Sandra para Try it on Tuesday, " Wish you were here ". También participo en Art Journal Journey, cuyo precioso tema este mes es de Gill,  " Anything with Eyes " Os invito a visitar sus magníficos blogs, porque están llenos de tesoros.

He creado esta página en mi libro de Collages, el que me regaló mi hijo por mi cumple, y primero he aplicado una capa de pintura acrílica blanca por toda la página, añadiendo pasta de textura en gel con una espátula antes de que secara. Una vez seco, he añadido varios colores de pintura acrílica con espátula y crayons pastel por los bordes, en amarillo y naranja, extendiéndo un poco con una servilleta. La sirena es de un papel scrap, y la he recortado y pegado en la página, he coloreado con crayons pastel rojizo el pelo, y morado la cola y las aletas. Las escamas de la cola las he recubierto con glitter rosa, y he dibujado una concha con una perla en su interior, la he pegado sobre la mano de la sirena. Luego he añadido gel glitter verde sobre la perla, así como sobre el ojo de la sirena, resaltando la mirada y  la belleza de la perla. He dibujado algas marinas en el fondo del mar, con un rotulador permanente negro, y , finalmente, he añadido tinta azul de un recambio de pluma estilográfica de Jane Davenport,  añadiendo un poco de agua al pincel.

I have created this page in my Collages book, the one my son gave me on my birthday, and first, I applied a layer of white acrylic paint, adding gel textured paste with a spatula before it dried. Once dry, I added several colours of acrylic paints, with a spatula, and pastel crayons at the edges, in yellow and orande, spreading a bit with a napkin.  The mermaid is from a scrap paper, I have cut it and glued on the page. I have coloured the hair and the tail with red and purple pastel crayons, and covered the scales of the tail with  pink glitter. I have drawn a shell with a pearl inside, cut it and glued on the hand of the mermaid. Then, Then I added green glitter gel on the pearl and on the eye of the mermaid, highlithting the look and also the beauty of the pearl. I have drawn seaweed at the bottom of the sea, with a permanent black marker. Finally,  I have added blug ink from a pen replacement, from Jane Davenport, adding some water to the paintbrush.

Here, we can appreciate the bright of the mermaid´s eye,  and so on the pearl.

Happy Day

Hola Corazones,

Si si, mediados de agosto ya !!  y por aquí, Almería se viste de Feria, con mucha alegría y euforia, sobre todo entre los más pequeños. Desde hoy hasta el  próximo sábado 24, los niños se convertirán en "infatigables"  😂😂

Hoy os traigo una tarjeta que he hecho con los bonitos fondos creados con esmaltes de uñas, que tengo varios claro.  He pegado el fondo sobre una cartulina negra y luego otra amarilla. Le he añadido las puntillas, las flores,  la azul con glitter, el sentimiento y unas perlitas brillantes, porque me encanta el brilli !
Espero que os guste, besotillos.😊😊

En esta foto se aprecia bien el glitter en la flor.

Me gusta mucho cómo queda la tarjeta con el esmalte de uñas.
