Uyy hoy es el último día para participar en el bonito reto de Art Journal Journey, y este mes, Alison de Craftytrog´s Arty Adventures, nos ha propuesto el tema de " Come fly with me ". Tenía una página de Art journal que hice el año pasado y que todavía no la había publicado, y es perfecta para este tema. Un pájaro hecho con acuarelas, inspirado en alguna imágen de Pinterest, pues me gusta mucho ese sitio. Os invito a visitar el blog de Alison, así como AJJ, dónde encontrareis mucho Arte en estado puro.

Oops today is the last day to participate in the beautiful challenge of Art Journal Journey, and this month, Alison from Craftytrog´s Arty Adventures, has proposed the theme of "Come fly with me". I had an Art journal page that I did last year and  hadn't published yet, and it's perfect for this theme. A bird made with watercolours, inspired by an image from Pinterest, because I really like that site. Hola Corazones,

Mayo ha llegado con muchas ganas de calentarnos, y espero que todo el mundo pueda disfrutar de su belleza, del renacer de la tierra, y de las flores, cuyo tema nos trae Aimeslee de Paper-Paisleys Art Adventures para Art Journal Journey. Participo en este reto con mi página, cuyas flores se pueden ver en el centro del globo.

Yo hoy aprovecho también para tomarme un té con Bleubeard & Elizabeth y la simpática pandilla del T-day, Feliz dia ! Si os queréis unir a la fiesta del té, lo podréis hacer visitando Altered Book Lover, su blog,  siempre hay sitio para alguien más.

Igualmente participo en el reto de Try it on Tuesday de esta quincena con Ina de Little Bits of Craft, con el tema de usar un esténcil.

May has arrived with a lot of desire to warm us up, and I hope that everyone can enjoy the beauty of it, the rebirth of the earth, and the flowers, whose theme is brought to us by Aimeslee from Paper-Paisleys Art Adventures for Art Journal Journey. I participate in this challenge with my page, where you could see the flowers just in the center of the globe.

Today I also take the opportunity to have tea with Bleubeard & Elizabeth and the nice T- gang, Happy day! If you want to join the tea party, you can do it by visiting Altered Book Lover, her blog, there is always a place for someone else.

I am also participating in this fortnight's Try it on Tuesday challenge with Ina from Little Bits of Craft, with the theme of using a stencil.

You will loove their fantastic Art !

Para el fondo de la página he usado una hoja con restos de pintura acrílica le he añadido una pequeña tarjeta con fondo de pintura acrílica amarilla y esténcil de círculos rosas. Aquí el uso del esténcil sirve para Try it on Tuesday.  Dibuje un cucurucho de helado y le añadí  el helado de corazones dibujados y recortados.

For the background of the page I have used a sheet with rest of acrylic paint, I have added a small card with a background of yellow acrylic paint and a stencil of pink circles. Here the use of the stencil  for Try it on Tuesday. I drew an ice cream cone and added the ice cream with hearts drawn and cut out.

A continuación añadí el globo de papel scrap, en su centro hay flores, para el reto de Art Journal Journey. Fuí poniendo también washi tape en los bordes de la página, que también remarqué con lápices de colores verde, azul, y gris. Por último añadí los tres corazones, hermanos de los del helado.

Next I added the scrap paper balloon, in its center there are flowers, for the Art Journal Journey challenge. I was also putting washi tape on the edges of the page, which I also highlighted with green, blue, and gray coloured pencils. Finally I added the three hearts, brothers of the ice cream ones.

Coffee and Tea for Bleubeard & Elizabeth Party . And the sentiments are : Today is a Perfect day to be Happy-- and -- You create your own opportunities.

We can read : Never forget to smile because the day you don´t smile will be a wasted day.

En la tienda de las plantas que hay cerca de mi casa podemos comprar muchas variedades de flores, también hay plantas aromáticas como la hierbabuena, y pequeños cactus.

I like very much the plant store  which is near my house. There we can buy many varieties of flowers, there are also aromatic plants like mint, and small cactus.

E antes y el después de mi tarta de manzana. Encima le puse canela, pero no le eché foto.

Recycle AJJ

 Hola Corazones,

Cómo ha ido vuestro día ? Por aquí he estado organizando un poco una habitación, desocupando otra, y es que quiero poner todas mis cosas de pintura y scrap en un mismo lugar, así que tengo trabajo por delante.

He terminado esta página con la que quiero unirme al reto de este mes en Art Journal Journey, de la mano de Bleubeard & Elizabeth, cuyo tema es el reciclaje. Este tema me gusta mucho, porque lo hago a diario, no solamente en el arte, sino también en todo lo relacionado con el hogar, la ropa, etc. Os invito a visitar el blog de Elizabeth, The Altered Book Lover, así como AJJ, os encantarán.

How has been your day? Around here I have been organizing a room a bit, vacating another, and I want to put all my paint and scrap things in one place, so I have  so much work ahead.

I have finished this page with which I want to join this month's challenge in Art Journal Journey by the hand of Bleubeard & Elizabeth, whose theme is recycling. He creado esta página reciclando la página del fondo que tenía restos de pintura, y también usando una tarjeta  mixed media que hice hace años con mariposas. Terminé de pintar unas rosas sobre papel de acuarela,  he usado washi tape y rotulador permanente negro para el sentimiento : Mariposa por 1 día y volando hacia tu eterna belleza. Luego  los dibujos de los bordes, y finalmente he añadido un lazo con una hebra de lana que tenía guardada.

I have created this page by recycling the background page that had traces of paint, and also using a mixed media card that I made years ago with butterflies. I finished painting some roses on watercolour paper, I used washi tape and black permanent marker for the sentiment: Butterfly for 1 day and flying towards your eternal beauty. Then the drawings of the edges, and finally I have added a bow with a bit of wool that I had saved.

When we were young

 Hola Corazones,

Espero que estén pasando una buena semana, ya termina agosto, y damos la bienvenida a septiembre. Por aquí hemos tenido una semana de Feria, que, sobre todo los niños, han pillado con muchas ganas.

Os traigo una página de Art Journal que he creado para participar en  el bonito reto que nos propone Chris de Pearshapedcrafting este mes, Cuando éramos jóvenes , para Art Journal Journey. Os invito a visitar sus blogs, porque os gustarán muchísimo. Cuando era niña, me encantaba poner unos barquitos de papel en la bañera y verlos flotar.

I hope you are having a good week, August is over, and we welcome September. Around here we have had a week of Fair, which, and  especially the children, have caught with great enthusiasm.

I show you an Art journal page I created to join in the beautiful challenge that Chris from Pearshapedcrafting proposes us this month, "when we were young", for Art Journal Journey. I invite you to visit their blogs, because you will like them very much. When I was young, I loved to make paper boats and put them in the bathtub, and watch them float

He usado para el fondo, pintura acrílica con pincel y espátula, diferentes sellos con acrílica azul, sténcil de mariposas, washi tape, y bordes con bolígrafos. Luego he dibujado con carboncillo un par de barquitos con vela, y los he pintado con neocolors, incluso los bordes. He añadido también dos tarjetitas marineras y he añadido el sentimiento.

I have used for the background, acrylic paint with a brush and spatula, different stamps with blue acrylic, butterfly stencil, washi tape, and borders with pens. Then I have drawn a couple o sailing boats with charcoal, and I have painted them with neocolors, even the edges. I have also added two sailor cards and I have added the sentiment.

Esta playa es la de Aguadulce, que está a 10 km de Almería, y es muy turística. This is the Aguadulce beach, which is at 10 km from Almería city, and is very touristic..

Qué rápido ha pasado Enero ! Un suspiro en la inmensidad del cosmos, y sin embargo, han pasado tantas cosas.... Solo deseo que para tod@s haya sido un buen mes. Ahora se estrena Febrero, y toca renovarse tras una meditación interior,  toca esperar a que germinen las semillas... del bien.

Hoy os traigo un canvas mixed media, que regalé a unos jóvenes amigos por su boda, les gustó mucho. Y con alegría participo en la fiesta del Té, junto a Bleubeard y Elizabeth de Altered Book Lover,  y la gente maravillosa que también asiste a la fiesta. Os invito a visitar sus blogs, porque son preciosos.

How quickly January has passed! A sigh in the immensity of the cosmos, and yet so many things have happened.... I only wish that it has been a good month for everyone. Now February opens, and it's time to renew after an inner meditation, it's time to wait for the seeds to germinate... of good.

Today I bring you a mixed media canvas, which was a present to some young friends for their wedding, they liked it a lot. And with joy I participate in the tea party, along with Bleubeard and Elizabeth from Altered Book Lover, and the wonderful people who also attend the party. Para crear este canvas he usado pasta de textura y esténciles, pinturas acrílicas, varios sellos, papel de scrap, puntillas, flores de ganchillo y de papel, figuras de madera, botones, perlas, charm,, mariposas y glitter.

Pilar and Jesús are really a lovely couple !

I have used texture past, stencils, acrylic paint, stamps, scrap papers, embroidery, crocheted flowers, paper flowers, wooden figures, buttons, pearls, charm,  paper butterfflies and glitter.

The bird cage has been painted with white acrylic.

Día de migas, con harina de trigo

We accompany them with fish, black pudding, peppers, tomatoes, meat, bacon, olive, cucumber and here, we also have pomegranate. Migas  are delicious!

We have several drinks, water, nestea, cocacola, wine.... that´s for the T-party !
