De nuevo pido disculpas por no poder visitar vuestros maravillosos blogs, y es que me falta tiempo para todo estos meses de julio y agosto, pero disfrutando de todo un poco, eso sí!! Espero que vuestras vacaciones sean estupendas también, y que lo estéis pasando divinamente.

Sé que llego con un poco de retraso para el Daf de junio que nos propuso Mila para M&M Creative Girls de FB, nada más y nada menos que una mujer magnífica : Virginia Woolf! Montse también nos inspira con su hermosa versión de este Daf.  Os invito a visitar estos fabulosos blogs, porque están llenos de puro Arte, y os encantarán.

He creado esta página pintando con varios colores de acrílicos para el fondo. Una vez seco, le he ido añadiendo varios restos de papeles, y troqueles de flor y mariposa, luego una puntilla blanca, toques de pintura acrílica rosa,  y encima la foto sobre cartulina,  restos de papeles y trozos de hojas de libro viejo pintadas.  Con pincel de acuarela negro,  he remarcado los bordes de la cartulina , he dibujado círculos con bolígrafo de gel, alrededor, y he añadido el nombre y una de las frases famosas de Virginia Woolf. Espero que os guste, besotillos.

T stands for... we are all going to have tea !

Los meteorólogos anuncian temperaturas muy elevadas para toda esta semana, ufff  🌞🌞🌞 Nos vamos a tostar !!

Hoy os traigo una página de Art journal, que nos recuerda que hoy es martes, y los martes nos tomamos el té, o café, en buena compañía, con Bleubeard & Elizabeth de anfitriones ! y os invito a visitar su magnífico blog, lleno de maravillas.

También participo en Art Journal Journey, con el fantástico tema que nos propone Chris para este mes : " We ´re all/going ".... to have tea !! Sus blogs os encantarán, sin duda alguna.

Today I bring you an Art Journal page, which reminds us that today it´s Tuesday, and on Tuesdays we have tea, or coffee, in good company, with Bleubeard & Elizabeth from hosts !! I invite you to visit her magnificent blog, full of wonders.  Happy T-day !

Esta página la he creado con chalk paint de base,  pegando flores de hoja de libro viejo encima, y añadiendo pinturas acrílicas de varios colores, así como rotuladores de colores por los bordes. Luego restos de papeles y la imagen procedente de internet, distresando los bordes  y poniendo un cordoncito blanco y rojo antes de pegar. Finalmente he añadido flores con sello de silicona. Espero que os guste.

I have created this page with chalk paint for the background, then glued paper flowers made  in book pages, then acrylic paints of different colours, as markers over the edges. Added scraps of paper and the image from internet, distressed the edgnes, and added a little thread before gluing it. At the end, I stamped flowers. Hope you´ll like it.

Mi cola cao con leche junto a las flores de crochet que estoy haciendo, y la planta que le regalé a mi hijo, un cactus cuyo nombre es  Haworthia Fasciata, preciosa.

Colours of the rainbow

Vaya veranito que llevamos, qué calor !! aunque lo bueno es que podemos disfrutar de las vacaciones, de la playita,  de días larguísimos y muy buena compañía, y espero que lo estéis pasando muy bien.

En primer lugar quiero dar la bienveniga a mi nueva seguidora, María Pilar, muchas gracias por acompañarme, os invito a visitar su precioso blog, lleno de maravillas!

What a summer we have !! very hot !Although the good thing is that we can enjoy the holidays, the beach, very long days,  and very good company, and I hope you are having a great time.

Técnica del nail polish sobre acuarela ( agua, gotitas de esmalte de uñas y papel de acuarela, retirarlo rápidamente y dejar secar ) cuyos resultados me encantan. Luego un poco más  de esmalte de uñas, uno con purpurina, y el resto de los adornos, tela, papeles, flores , botones, perlas y mariposa, montado sobre dos cartulinas roja y beige... con los colores del arco iris !

Nail polish technique  on watercolour paper ( water, nail polish drops, and watercolour paper, remove it quickly and let dry )  I love the results. Then more nail polish, one with glitter, and add the rest of the embellishments, fabric, papers, flowers, buttons, pearls and butterfly,   mounted on two red and beige cardstocks....with the colours of the rainbow.

Lo primero de todo es disculparme por no haberos visitado estas últimas semanas,  pues he estado muy muy ocupada, estos meses de julio y agosto son frenéticos, y apenas tengo tiempo libre. ♥ Mil disculpas.

Y ahora quiero  Felicitar a Elizabeth por el sexto aniversario de T stands for Tuesday,   Muchas Felicidades !!🎂🎂🎂  🐈Y muchas gracias por organizar cada martes este maravilloso encuentro para tomar  té o café, pero siempre siempre.... en buena compañía !! ♫ ♪ ♫ ♪ ♥

The purple Cat dreams -- T stands for Tuesday & Art Journal Journey

Hola Corazones,


Espero que este mes sea muy feliz para tod@s !! Unas vacaciones prometedoras, y muchas visitas familiares y de amigos, pero con buenos momentos de relax y descanso también!!

Hoy os traigo una página de Art journal, la  segunda que hago en mi libreta-canvas, regalo de mi hijo.  Para crearla me he inspirado en el fabuloso tema que nos propone Chris este mes para Art Journal Journey :   "  We ´re all/going " . Y también me tomo mi Té con Bleubeard & Elizabeth, hoy es martes  claro, no podemos faltar !  Os invito a visitar sus preciosos blogs, porque están llenos de bellísimo Arte !

Estuve haciendo algunos fondos sobre papel de acuarela,  con esmalte de uñas , agua y tintas de alcohol. Si queréis, podéis ver el enlace que nos facilito Carol sobre esa técnica, visitando su precioso blog.

I hope this mont is starting very happy for everyone ! A promisin holidays, and many visits from family and friends, but with good moments of relaxation and rest too.

Today I bring you an Art journal page, this is the second one I don in my canvas-notebook, a gift from my son. To create it, I was inspired by the fabulous theme that Chris proposes to us this month for Art Journal Journey :  " We´re all / going " And, I also take my Tea with Bleubeard & Elizabeth today, of course, it´s Tuesday , and we can´t miss !  I invite you to visit their wonderful blogs, because they are full of Gorgeous Art !!

I was preparing some backgrounds with watercolour paper, nail varnish, water and alcohol inks. If you want, you can see the video proposed by Carol about this technique, you can visit her wonderful blog.

Primero pegué dos hojas de mi Art journal, porque eran muy finas, y les añadí pintura acrílica  en amarillo, blanco y verde suave, y unos toques de chalk paint beige. Luego le añadí trozos de scrap, y del fondo que hice con esmalte de uñas y tintas de alcohol. Una vez bien seco,  dibujé un gato con un lápiz y lo "rellené" con  un bolígrafo con glitter morado. Añadí también un par de mariposas, una flor y un corazón rosa. Espero que os guste.

First I glued two pages of my Art journal, because they were very thin, I added layers of acrylic paint, yellow, soft green and white, and also beige  chalk paint. Then I added  pieces of scrap and the background, that I made with nail polish and alcohol inks.  Once dry, I drew a cat with a pencil, and I "filled" it with a purple glitter pen. I also added two butterflies, a flower and a pink heart. I hope you´ll like it.

The butterflies and the flower have got the same colour of the cat.
Las mariposas y la flor tienen el mismo color que el gato.

I´m going to Dream !!
