Hola Corazones,

I hope you are having a good day, here with an almost spring weather, over 20º C (68º F), a beautiful sun without clouds, over the wonderful bustle of life.
Today I bring you a very affectionate card, with happy hearts, with which I participate in the fabulous challenge proposed by Linda for Try it on Tuesday, "New technique". And my new technique is to sew with thread, a heart of red felt on a heart of yellow cardboard.
As my card also has a little of green, I thought I could have participated in the challenge at Try it on Tuesday, proposed by Elizabeth, "Go green/or recycle somethint", but the challenge is over, what a pity ! The truth is that the hearts would have been perfect for the February challenge in Art Journal Journey, also proposed by Elizabeth, "Hearts", but it´s over, and then I realized that being a card, I couldn´t participate in the challenge. Well, I shall participate in this month´s challenge, which comes from Eileen, "Green", with an Art journal page, which is in process.
Now I have tea, which I haven´t had for a long time, with Bleubeard & Elizabeth, and the fantastic T-day gang. happy T-day !
I invite you to visit all the wonderful blogs of these great Artists, because they are full of gorgeous and incredible Art !

Finalmente, he estampado sellos de flores y mariposas.
-----------------------
I have created this card using for the background watercolour paper with nail polish in different colours ( put water on a plate, add drops of different colours of nail polish, put the watercolour paper on, press a couple of seconds, and quickly remove it and let dry). Then I put several bits of wool in various colours of pink, on top a felt red heart, stitched on a yellow cardboard, cut around the edges, In the center I have glued a little foamy heart with glitter. Finally I´ve stamped flowers and butterflies. Put all on red and white cardboards.

EliminarBeautiful card, Caty. I like your new technique, too. I don't sew anything by hand, because I have no pinch grip to hold my needle. You did an excellent job. Love the glittery heart, too.

Beautiful flowers, Caty. Isn't it lovely at this time of the year, when Spring is bursting through the greyness?
ResponderEliminarLove your nail varnish background - it's worked wonderfully. I've only ever tried that technique once, so maybe I need to try again if I haven't thrown away my varnishes!
The hand stitching looks great... it's always a good way to add interest. I used to do 'staple-like' stitching between torn papers and loved it, but now i use a stamp instead, lol - not quite as good.
Your page is bursting with life and with colour. The flowers are a perfect addition.
Thank you for linking to Try it on Tuesday.
