Louise Bourgeois & T stands for Big mug

Hola Corazones,

Espero que tengáis una bonita semana, por aquí cayeron unas gotitas ayer y el domingo, poca cosa, pero menos es nada verdad ? A ver si hay suerte y llueve algo más.

Hoy os traigo mi versión del Daf que no proponen Mila & Montse para M&M Creative Girls de FB, y que trata de Louise Bourgeois, famosa sobre todo por sus esculturas de arañas, animalitos que me asustan enormemente. Os invito a visitar sus fantásticos blogs, así como la página de FB, porque os maravillarán.

Hoy es martes, y también me tomo mi té con Elizabeth y las chicas,  siempre charlando relajadamente sobre multitud de cosas, y os invito a visitar sus blogs, os sorprenderán.

I hope you are having a nice week, here yesterday and Sunday too, we had some rain, very little, but less is nothing , isn´t it ? Let´s see if with some chance, it rains a little more.
Today, I bring you my version of the Daf that Mila & Montse propose us for M&M Creative Girls at FB, wich theme is Louise Bourgeois, famous specially for her sculptures and spiders, animals that frightened me enormously. I invite you to visit their blogs, because they will amaze you.

 Cómo lo he creado :
1- Aplico primero una fina capa de gesso sobre la página, y cuando está seca, voy dando finas capas de diferentes colores de acrílicas, con pincel y esponja.
2- Luego  añado el color morado con un esténcil, y después voy dando brochazos pequeños de pintura acrílica blanca.
3- Cuando todo ha secado, hago pequeños círculos de diversos colores de  water soluble oil pastels de Prima, me están gustando mucho cómo quedan, y remarco los bordes de la página con estos mismos pastels en color negro.
4- Luego recorto la foto y la pego sobre un trocito de cartón de una caja de galletas pintado con acrílica amarilla, vuelvo a recortar, y remarco los bordes con pintura metalizada violeta.
5- Para terminar pego unos trocitos de lana a un botón morado y éste a la página, y, como sobresale unas gotas de silicona caliente por los agujeros del botón, pues le aplico pintura metalizada violeta, y de esta forma, parecen los ojos de la araña. :) y, ya puesta, un poco más de pintura metalizada para el cuerpo, brrrr, qué miedo !

How I have created it :
1- First I apply a thin layer of gesso on the page, and when it is dry, I apply thin layers of  acrylic colours, with paintbrush and sponge.
2- Then I add the purple colour with a stencil,  and give small touches of white acrylic paint.
3- When everything has dried, I  make small circles with water soluble oil pastels crayons of Prima. I really like them a lot. Then I also edge the borders with these same crayons, black crayon.
4- Then I cut the photograph and I stick it on a cardboard from a cookie box, painted with yellow acrylic, I cut it again, and I mark the edges with violet metallic paint.
5- Endly, I stick some pieces of whole to a purple button, and this one to the top of the page. Then, as I see some drops os hot silicone that  stand out from the  holes of the button, I  apply some metallic paint over them, as they look like  the spider´s eyes :)   and also put some paint for the body, brrrrr.... so scary !

 Aquí se ven los "ojos" de la araña, el cuerpo, y... alguna tela de araña también.

Mi mug de hoy está entre el vaso floreado y el de los gatos.
My mug today is between the flower´s glass and this one with cats.

Mi ensaladilla rusa : patatas, zanahorias, judías verdes, pepinillos en vinagre, huevos y aceitunas.
My russian  salad : potatoes, carrots, green beans, pickled cucumbers, eggs, olives.




T stands for Tuesday :

Mi perro encontró un nido caído, no había ningún huevo dentro, menos mal.
My dog found a fallen nest, there was no egg inside, thank goodness.

De paseo por un parque.
