Hoy os traigo una página de Art journal inspirada en la fantástica propuesta de Mila y Montse de M&M Creative Girls de FB, para julio, Rosalía de Castro, una gran escritora española para los Dafs Mujeres.
Y hoy es martes, por lo que también participo en T stands for Tuesday, con Bleubeard y Elizabeth, y la maravillosa gente del T-day.

Today I want to show you an Art journal page, inspired by the fantastic proposal of Mila and Montse, from M&M Creative Girls of FB, for July.. Rosalía de Castro, great spanish writer for the Dafs Women.
And today it´s Tuesday, so I take my tea at T stands for Tuesday, with Bleubeard and Elizabeth, and the wonderful people of the T-day. (Well yesterday it was Tuesday 😍 I started my post yesterday) Happy T-day !

He creado el fondo con varias capas de pintura acrílica, en distintos colores y una vez seco he sellado aleatoriamente por toda la página. En los bordes he usado bolígrafos de gel y tizas. Luego he añadido la foto y el nombre, distresando los bordes. Finalmente he pegado un cordón de lana y los botones.

I have created the background with some layers of acrylic paint, in various colours, and once dry, I have stamped all over the page. I used gel pens for the edges and chalks. Then I added the photograph and the name, and distressed the edges. At the end, I glued a wool cord and the buttons.

You have a lovely bunch of plants and flowers in your flat. They add such a warm and happy feel. Your seeds seem to be doing well, too. I am sure you must have a green thumb and your caring for these young plants will assure they grow big and strong.

EliminarI love the art today Caty. I looked up your author and she sounded like a fascinating woman. I have not read any of her works however but now I am familiar with her. And I just saw those rose filled cakes at a store the other day and I was curious about them. So glad you shared them too. And I love seeing your plants. I hope your apples grow! Happy belated T day. Thank you very much Eileen !! I´m so glad you like it. Oh, if the little trees grow well, I´ll plant them at the village, around 120 kms from Almería, where my family has got a house and a garden.
