Ay por aquí seguimos con mucho calor, 32 º C hoy, y contentos porque hace un poquito de aire, el otoño suele llegar más tarde, y necesitamos mucha lluvia. Si, lo sé, siempre estoy pidiendo lluvia !
Hoy os traigo una página de Art Journal, para que nunca nunca, dejemos de ver el vaso medio lleno, el optimismo y la positividad son fundamentales para mantener nuestro ánimo por todo lo alto, siempre que se pueda naturalmente.
Esta página la he creado inspirándome en la fabulosa propuesta de Yvonne, A World of Fantasy, para Art Journal Journey, y también en el hermoso tema que nos propone Sandra, Slap it on, para Try it on Tuesday. Desde luego, yo os invito a visitar sus blogs, porque en ellos encontraréis verdaderas maravillas !!

T stands for Tuesday
Esta página la he creado en una vieja agenda, primero he pegado muchos trocitos de papeles varios, de scrap, hechos a mano, troqueles en negativo, todo lo que he encontrado en mi caja de restos, y es que hay que aprovecharlo todo y reciclar !!
Seguidamente he pulverizado la página con varios colores de acrílicas en spray caseras, y después he ido añadiendo capas con esténciles varios y acrílicas o pasta de textura. Finalmente he pegado la frase a un papel de scrap rosa, remarcando los bordes con acrílicas rosa y azul, dibujando unas pequeñas tazas y el half full, que tanto me gusta, por todo lo que significa, un poquito de bolígrafo fluorescente en letras y taza. Lo pego sobre la página, y añado la cinta de papel rosa fuscia y las mariposas troqueladas y pintadas con acrílicas. Espero que os guste, besotillos.
Estos higos están riquísimos, y son de Santa María de Nieva, el pueblo dónde yo nací, a 115 km de Almería, para T stands for Tuesday, junto con la tacita de mi página.

Oh Caty, this is incredible. Not only do I love it, I love that you included some of your signature butterflies, too. This is simply fabulous and I really, really love it. It makes me happy that you shared it with us at Art Journal Journey and I love that it fits Yvonne's theme so well.

I love how you layered up the paints and stencils and other pieces you added to create this fantastic page Caty. The colours are lovely, the main focus really appealed to me with the super quote.

What a beautiful and colorful background! I love the butterflies and the tea cup stamp. I have never had fresh figs but the color is so pretty and they look delicious!
