Vuela tu propio vuelo..... Art Journal Journey & T stands for Tuesday

Hola Corazones,

Aún siguen achicando aguas en muchos lugares del sud-este de la península, y es que las lluvias  se han llevado muchas vidas, humanas y animales, y han ocasionado muchos destrozos a su paso. Está claro que la naturaleza tiene una fuerza tremenda, y, la mayoría de las veces, poco se puede hacer para evitar sus efectos.

Hoy os traigo una página de Art journal, inspirada en la fabulosa propuesta de Erika este mes, para Art Journal Journey :   Polka-Dots, Stripes, Plaids or Patterns... lo que significa :  Lunares, rayas, cuadros o patrones, y mi página tiene unos cuantos.

Y, como todos los martes, me tomo un té con Bleubeard & Elizabeth, y  el maravilloso grupo  del T-gang,  en T stands for Tuesday.

They are still shrinking water in many places in the south-east of  Spain, and it is that rains have taken many lives, human and animal, and have caused many damage in its wake. It is clear that nature has tremendous strenght, and, most of the time,  we can´t do anything to avoid its effects.

Today I bring you an Art journal page,  inspired by Erika´s fabulous theme this month, at Art Journal Journey : Polka-Dots, Stripes, Plaids or Patterns...  which means :  Lunares, rayas, cuadros o patrones., and my page has got some..

He creado esta página pegando unos trocitos de papel de seda decorado, y encima unos toques de pintura acrílica. Luego otro trocito de papel de seda rosa, un pequeño tag y un pájaro azul. He estampado sellos alrededor de la página y he escrito el texto :
" Vuela tu propio vuelo, no importa dónde te lleve, siempre hallarás tu camino. "

I have created this page by pasting a few pieces of decorated tissue paper, on top some touches of acrylic paint. Then another piece of pink tissue paper, a small tag, and a gifted blue bird. I have  stamped around the page with sicilone flowers stamp, and then written the text :
" Fly your own flight, no matter where it takes you, you will always find your way "

Leaf of my life

Hola Corazones,

Anoche llovió muchísimo por aquí,  tuvimos una señora tormenta,  con rayos y truenos ensordecedores. Hoy, el cielo sigue nublado, y chispea a ratos. A ver qué pasa este fin de semana.

Hoy os traigo, para acompañar mi anterior comentario, una página de Art journal otoñal, que ya falta poco para que llegue, oficialmente, el otoño.

Primero he pegado algunos troqueles de mariposa, coracones y flores, aleatoriamente por la página, luego he aplicado una fina capa de gesso, y una vez seca, he pegado hojas hechas con hojas de libro viejo y unas tijeras de forma, en la parte baja, que he pintado con acrílica verde. He pegado el resto de la página en la parte central, así como una cartulina decorada, cesta con flores. He metido una hoja seca en un plástico (funda ) y la he pegado a la página. He añadido un sello de correos, he estampado varias flores, he pintado la parte inferior de las hojas en tono morado con crayons oil pastel, así como alrededor de algunos sellos. Finalmente, he añadido unos trocitos del los preciosos washi tape que me regaló Chris de Pearshapedcrafting, y he escrito el sentimiento en la hoja, o el plástico que la cubre, con un rotulador permanente negro, y unos puntitos de rotulador permanente oro. Espero que os guste.

No de este mundo -- T stands for Tuesday

Hola Corazones,

Los niños han podido disfrutar de su primer día de clase aquí, esta mañana todos estaban encantados y felices, mayores ellos, y creyendo que todo es posible !! Y llevan razón, todo es posible !

The children have enjoyed their first day of class here,  this morning they were delighted and very happy,  "older" them,  and they believed that everything is possible ! and yes, they are right, everything is possible !

Para crear esta página he pegado la primera capa de una caja de colonia y puntilla. Luego he pintado los bordes de la página con acrílicas y crayons oil pastel. He añadido purpurina, un poco más de acrílicas,  una pegatina de mariposa y las palabras no de este mundo.

Dreams of Children -- TsfT & TioT

Hola Corazones,

Ayyy qué de cosas que hacemos en unos días,  claro que siempre digo que el día tendría que tener 100 horas como mínimo, y, quién sabe si al final nos seguirían faltando horas  😄😄. Este mes es el de los comienzos de curso, y la mayoría de los niños están ansiosos por empezar, yo recuerdo que lo que más me gustaba era  estrenar los cuadernos  inmaculados, con mi mejor escritura, aunque, al paso de los meses, sí o sí, ésta cambiaba.  Sí, el inicio de un curso, siempre se vive con ilusión, o se debería.

He creado una página de Art journal, con la que me uno a Bleubeard & Elizabeth y a la maravillosa gente de T stands for Tuesday, para tomar otro té, y seguir charlando de muchísimas cosas (digo otro té, porque hoy es jueves 😯 , pero cualquier momento es bueno para un té verdad ? o un café ? )
También me uno a Try it on Tuesday y a las maravillosas mujeres del equipo de diseño,  para participar en el fabuloso reto que nos proponen para esta quincena : Boys, Girls, Children. Aprovecho también para agradecerles haber seleccionado mi creación para el Top 5 con el lindísimo reto de : Wish you were here, es un honor, muchas gracias !

Ohh how many things we can do in a few days, of course, I always say that the day should have at least 100 hours, and, who knows if in the end, we would still be missing hours 😄😄 .  This month is the beginning of the course, and most of the children are eager to start. I remember that the thing I liked the most,was to start a new notebook, with my best writing, although, over the next months, my writing changed. But yes, we always live with enthusiasm the beginning of a course, or it should be.

I have created an Art journal page, with which I join Bleubeard & Elizabeth and the wonderful people of T stands for Tuesday, for having another tea, and continue talking about many things ( I say another tea, because today it´s Thursday 😯,  but any time is good for a tea right ? or a coffee ?   )

I also join Try it on Tuesday and the wonderful ladies of the design team, and participae in the fabulous challenge for this fortnight : Boys, Girls, Children. I also want to thank them very much for selecting my creation for the Top 5 for the lovely challenge : Wish you were here. It´s an honor, thank you very much !

He creado esta página pegando unos trocitos de hoja de libro viejo, luego  una servilleta de papel con motivos florales, y unos trocitos de papel crepé amarillo. He añadido toques de crayons oil pastel, activando con agua en algunas zonas. Luego he añadido la puntilla azul, regalo de Mila de El  Taller de Mila, queda genial, y finalmente la imagen, el sentimiento y un poquito de purpurina amarilla.

I have created this page adding bits of old book sheets, then a tissu paper with flowers, and some bits of yellow crêpé paper. Then some touches of oil pastel crayons, I activate with water in some areas. Then I added the blue lace, gift from Mila from El Taller de Mila, it´s gorgeous.  Then the image, the sentiment and yellow glitter too.

Mi cajita de flores de papel y otras cosas
My container of paper flowers....and something more

Como me habéis preguntado en alguna ocasión cómo hago mis flores de papel, pues es muy sencillo : 1- Utilizo papel de acuarela de 200 gr y troquelo varios tamaños de flores con perforadoras de formas. 2- pulverizo con agua las flores y las doblo y arrugo, las dejo secar. 3-  Una vez secas, las abro despacio para no romperlas, y a algunas hago pequeños cortes entre los pétalos. 4- Las pulverizo con los colores que más me gustan o las dejo en blanco, y las pego con silicona caliente. Sencillo verdad ? Yo las uso bastante.

You have asked me on some occasion,  how I make my paper flowers, it´s very simple.  1-  I use 200 gr watercolour paper, and cut several sizes of flowers with punchers. 2- I spray the flowers with water, fold them and wrinkle, let them dry. 3- Once dry, I open them slowly, so as not to break them, and I make small cuts between the petals in some of them. 4-  I spray them with the colours that I like the most, or leave them white, and glue them with hot silicone. It´s simple right ? I use them a lot.
